Forschungsinteresse:

Mein Forschungsinteresse ersteckt sich über drei Gebiete in der Schnittstelle zwischen Informatik und Wirtschaft: elektronischer Handel von Rechenressourcen und Software als Service, Grid-Ökonomien, integriertes Risikomanagement in Grid-Systemen, Simulation und Prototypenbau von verteilten Systemen mit Hilfe von Softwareagenten.

Im Vordergrund stehen die Anwendung von neuartigen Verfahren zur Steuerung und Koordination großer, verteiler Systeme, die von Natur aus dynamisch sind, und aus Entitäten bestehen, die über ein Computernetzwerk miteinander interagieren.

Dissertationsthema: "Einsatz von Risikomanagement bei der Steuerung von Grid-Systemen – Eine Analyse von  Versicherungen anhand einer simulierten Grid-Ökonomie"
